Blues Bytes Review

By Graham Clarke

Are We Ever Free (Farm 189 Record) is the third release from The Trevor B. Power Band.  The New Jersey-based Power wrote all eleven songs, deftly mixing the blues with a dash here and there of R&B, rock ‘n roll, and pop, while providing lead guitar and vocals.

Power is also backed by a superb list of musicians, including New York Blues Hall of Famer Dave Fields, who co-produced with Power and played multiple instruments.  Other contributors include drummer Steve Holley (Paul McCartney & Wings), Anthony Krizan (drums/guitar/vocals), Tom Dicianni (drums), Bob Lanza and Charlie Macarone (guitars), Tom Timko and Baron Raymonde (saxophones), and Will Wilde (harmonica), plus the Califon Chiswick Singers.

The opening track, “Let Yourself Fly,” is a pop-flavored rocker that encourages all to perservere through challenging times.  The hard-charging “Lady Luck” takes more of a Rock/R&B edge and “Mystery” leans more toward the blues rock side of the aisle with Wilde’s harmonica.  The title track finds Power reflecting about the state of affairs in the country, both past and present, and “Going To Washington” is a greasy shuffle that continues the previous theme.

Power ruminates about the experiences of life on the Southern rocker “Mistakes,” before launching into a rocking tribute to his convertible, “TR3” (pictured on the cover with Power), then going unplugged for “Come On Now,” which addresses the plight of the homeless.

“Trouble To The Core” is the purest blues track on the disc, both musically and lyrically, “The Noose” asks listeners to stay positive through adversity, and the blues rocker, “Man Goes Blind,” wraps up the disc on an energetic note.

Are We Ever Free covers the bases pretty well, with its mix of blues, rock, pop, and R&B.  Trevor B. Power writes compelling songs and backs them up with superb musicianship. This set should appeal to blues and rock fans equally.

The Trevor B. Power Band – Are We Ever Free – Farm Records

It sounds a bit unlikely: an enthusiast and mentor of the " roots " of the American South is a guitarist and vocalist from New Jersey. Trevor B. Power is fascinated by this distinctive sound, adding subtle flavors of rock, pop music and folk of the 60s and 70s to his music. Whether he plays acoustic or electric guitar, he finds inspiration everywhere around him, turning his thoughts and experiences into interesting and honest lyrics. In 2019, Trevor B. Power released his debut album " Everyday Angel " recorded at Sonic Boom Studios with Anthony Krizan, musician of Spin Doctors, Lenny Kravitz and Noel Redding. The collection of original blues, soul and rock'n'roll songs led the New Jersey guitarist's debut to 24th place on the Roots Music Report Blues Rock charts , and the album itself was met with critical acclaim and was named " The Best of 2019 ". It is worth noting that the success of the album was also due to outstanding musicians (Bobby Whitlock, CoCo Carmel, John Ginty of The Allman Betts Band and Anthony Krizan), whom Trevor invited to his session. He returned to work with Anthony Krizan, making his second album " What Is Real" at Sonic Boom Studios, prepared during the pandemic.

Now with the album " Are We Ever Free " Trevor B. Power and his new band return to his characteristic sound. He has once again adopted his artistic aesthetic and in a set of a dozen new songs he fills the session with a whole range of noisy roadside bar blues, sweet introspective American R&B and dancing rock'n'roll hits. The artist weaves into these seemingly banal songs important observations of today's America: from social dilemmas to current problems of the American province. Musically, the album was produced by his longtime friend and member of the prestigious New York Blues Hall of Fame, Dave Fields . The musicians also included drummer Steve Holley , known for his work with Paul McCartney and Wings, Anthony Krizan on drums, guitar and vocals, Tom Dicianni on drums, guitarists Bob Lanza and Charlie Macarone on guitar, saxophonists Tim Timko and Baron Raymonde , Will Wilde on harmonica and the famous The Califon Chiswick Singers.

Kentuckiana Blues Society Review By John Sacksteder

The Trevor B. Power Band “Are We Ever Free” (Farm 189 Records) This is the third album from New Jersey guitarist Trevor Power. His debut album was released in 2019. He has previously played guitar for numerous people including Dave Fields and Trudy Lynn. Fields produced this album and co-wrote the songs with Trevor. He leads off with the optimistic encouragement to “Let Yourself Fly”. On the rocking “Lady Luck” he declares that “I’ve got the blues all day long. On “Mystery”, he questions how eve-rything has changed. He follows that with the question of the title track, “Are We Ever Free”. Next, he cites he is “Going To Washington” to “buy me a favor or two”. He admits to the “Mistakes” in his life. His classic Triumph shown on the cover is immortalized on “TR3”. “Come On Now” addresses homelessness. “Trouble to The Core” is about a man done wrong. “The Noose” features Fields on organ on another quiet note of optimism. “Man Goes Blind” addresses those who ignore the hatred growing in our society. Trevor’s vocals are very clear and the music frequently sounds like a throwback to 70’s Southern rock in an excellent message album.

Trevor B. Power – Are We Ever Free (Farm 189)

Bio – “The Trevor B. Power Band is based in northwest New Jersey. Power grew up in a household with parents that loved all kinds of music. He received his first guitar when he was fifteen and began playing the rock n’ roll of the sixties and seventies. He spent most of his adult life playing solo acoustic at coffee houses and bars in the northeast and Arizona. Power became a DJ at Centenary College’s public radio station, WNTI where he further schooled himself on the history of the blues and the music business in general. He befriended Bobby Whitlock, of “Derek and the Dominos” who encouraged Power to write and play more of his own music. He shared the stage with Johnny Charles, Dave Fields, and Steve Krase’s krewe, including 13 time Blues Music nominee Trudy Lynn, and guitarist Bob Lanza. Power released his debut album “Everyday Angel” in 2019, and followed-up with 2021’s “What Is Real”, also on Farm 189 Records.”

Review – I real excited seeing this on in this weeks CDs, Cover shows Trevor leaning against a Triumph TR3!! Trevor wrote all the songs on this album and even wrote one called TR3!! (Sorry us British Car Nuts have to stick together). While I wouldn’t call this a full out Blues Album, the tunes are actually written pretty good and the band sounds great, Except for the weird song “Are We Ever Free”, not sure what they were thinking on that one. “Mistakes” is a decent song, as well as “Trouble To The Core” and “Man Goes Blind”. I think my favorite, just because it is about a TR3, is “Tr3”, listen here. I will give this a 5 on Blues Content and a 7 on Music Content.

Mladen Loncar Review:

(Hrvatske Croatian Blues Society)

Ten days ago Trevor B. Power with his Trevor B. Power Band released the album ''Are We Ever Free'' on Farm 189 Records. Worldwide radio promotion is still carried out by the Blind Raccoon promotional company of Memphis.

Betsie Brown has really strongly supported this band from New Jersey, comprised of the following lineup of musicians: Trevor B. Power (guitar and vocals), Dave Fields (drums, bass, guitar, piano, organ and vocals), Steve Holley (drums, percussion), Charlie Macarone (guitar), Tim Timko (sax), Baron Raymonde (sax), Will Wilde (harmonica) and Califon The Chiswick Singers. And they all deliver us inspired blues, soul and rock 'n' roll, which is very pleasant to listen to. Eleven original songs reflect a strong desire for life and mutual love. On the other hand, he clearly feels through the album, how Trevor has been since he was 15. Birthday and until today, decisively and with a deep understanding, went and strived for exactly this, which is offered on his new studio album.

To gather such musicians was not at all easy and, of course, the result was not absent. And it was those in the studio who did a great job and offered us an album, which radiates a great atmosphere and characteristic energy. Well, believe it... all together deliver us an inspired fusion "Tejano music" far better known as "Tex-Mex music", which combines the musical influences of Mexico, Europe and America. And besides that, their inspired mix of country, rock 'n' roll, soul and blues, give material that is undoubtedly very pleasant to listen to. The sound remains the same with that familiar, Jersey rock 'n' roll infused with blues, soul and roots music as performed by the likes of John Mellencamp, The Alarm and CCR. The album is dominated by Trevor's distinctive, rough vocal, which constantly sounds happy and vain at the same time.

And of course no doubt Trevor B. Power has got such a moody album that will keep listeners awake at all times and literally force them to listen to what's coming and what's next. I will deliberately not highlight a single song wanting to "force" you to listen to the album in its entirety. In the end, you will see for yourself that it is for the best.

RECOMMENDATION:

''With ''Are We Ever Free'' Trevor delivers a fresh, vibrant sound that captivates listeners and invites them to groove along. '' It stands in the press materials of the Blind Raccoon promotional company. And that perhaps best describes the content of this album. I think with his hard work and instrumental abilities Trevor B. Power has managed to build and occupy its place in this demanding music scene. And with a great band Trevor B. He gave the album all that was needed. But, see for yourself these statements of mine and search for and listen to "'Are We Ever Free''.

Guitarist, singer-songwriter, and radio personality TREVOR B. POWER hails from Northern New Jersey. He leads the Trevor B. Power Band, which consists of at least two guitars, bass, and drums. They deliver blues, soul, and rock 'n' roll that comes straight from the heart. Power started playing music when he received his first Hohner acoustic guitar on his 15th birthday.

In 2019, Trevor debuted with ‘Everyday Angel’, an album recorded at Sonic Boom Studios with co-producer Anthony Krizan (Spin Doctors, Lenny Kravitz, Noel Redding) and alongside him Billy Gensch on guitar, Mark Enright on bass, and drummer Tom DiCianni. Special guests include Bob Lanza (guitar), Nick Conti (sax), and (in the closing act) the legendary Bobby Whitlock and his wife CoCo Carmel.

It took almost five years for the follow-up ‘ARE WE EVER FREE’ (2024) from THE TREVOR B. POWER BAND to be released. It is a collection of eleven new original songs, covering the entire spectrum of raw roadhouse blues, sweet introspective R&B and rock ‘n’ roll. A number of songs deal with the current state of the nation and current issues. In the recording studio (Farm189 Studios in Califon, NJ) you are usually not alone. Trevor got help from his old friend and NY Blues Hall of Famer Dave Fields as co-producer, drummers Steve Holley (Paul McCartney & Wings) + Tom Dicianni, Anthony Krizan (drums, guitar and vocals), Bob Lanza + Charlie Macarone on guitar, Tim Timko + Baron Raymonde on sax, Will Wilde on harmonica and The Califon Chiswick Singers. The opener “Let Yourself Fly” immediately features dueling saxes and guitars, floating on a calm rhythm and harmonious vocals. The horn section then takes over completely on the effervescent classic R&B number with some Stones’ traits, “Lady Luck”. On the rumbling rocker “Mystery” Will Wilde’s fat blues harp stands out, before the big question comes our way on the orchestral title track. “Going to Washington” is the usual shuffle, here with sharp lyrics that match the essential blues licks. Maybe a song for Trump & Co.? Even more existential questions follow on “Mistakes”, “Tr3” is an ode to the eponymous convertible (a Triumph, pictured on the album cover) and “Come on Now” is an acoustic number that goes all out considering topics such as the epidemic and homelessness. The all-out blues “Trouble to the Core” is the classic (recognizable) story of a man who has been wronged and drowns his sorrows… Optimist you have to be until the coffin, says Trevor on “The Noose”, or how life is long and full of surprises! “Man Goes Blind”, finally, is a politically charged rocker, that processes equal parts punk and gospel with some nonsense and vinegar. Trevor for PRESIDENT!

Great International Reviews of ARE WE EVER FREE!

ZicZac Review:

By Fred Delforge:

(Translated from French:)

A New Jersey native, Trevor B. Power is a sixty-year-old singer and guitarist who plays both acoustic and electric and who shows real talent as a songwriter. Noticed with a first album released in 2019 that climbed high in the charts, this charismatic character will return for a second effort in which he will offer a strong title, "Pandemic 2020", in which he evokes the power of resilience of the American people on a catchy and particularly well-chosen tune. Radio host of a weekly show, Trevor B. Power returns this year with a band in which we find Dave Fields on most of the instruments, Steve Holley on drums, Anthony Krizan on drums and guitars, Bob Lanza on guitars, Tom Dicianni on drums, Charlie Macarone on guitars, Tim Timko and Baron Raymonde on saxophones, Will Wilde on harmonicas and finally the Califon Chiswick Singers on backing vocals. Recorded and produced in the company of the indispensable Dave Fields, "Are We Ever Free" presents us with a collection of eleven original pieces that will move away a little from the blues so dear to the artist to go for a stroll on the side of rock, rhythm'n'blues or even Americana in the broad sense of the term. Recurringly addressing social phenomena, Trevor B. Power never becomes moralistic but never uses wooden language either and it is a frank, massive and sincere work that he unveils, with inside titles like "Let Yourself Fly", "Lady Luck", "Going To Washington", "Come On Now", "Trouble To The Core" or "Man Goes Blind" which, in their own way, make "Are We Ever Free" a sort of road book of America as it is today, full of paradoxes, likely to provoke many fears and at the same time always so attractive. In stores from the end of July!

Rootsville Review:

(Translated from Dutch:)

New Jersey roots music maestro Trevor B. Power has fully embraced the “Wall of Sound” aesthetic on his latest release, Are We Ever Free; a collection of eleven new original songs that run the gamut from gritty roadhouse blues, sweetly introspective American horn-driven R&B, and four-track rock ‘n’ roll. Power has a lot to say about the current state of the nation and doesn’t shy away from expressing his worldview on a range of topical issues through poignant, pointed prose that’s both intellectual and accessible, with sing-alongs and easygoing melodies. To accomplish this, Power enlisted longtime friend and New York Blues Hall of Famer Dave Fields as co-producer to record his third studio album at Farm189 Studios in Califon, NJ. A-list drummer Steve Holley, known for his work with Paul McCartney & Wings, was brought in to anchor the sessions and fuel the players, who included Anthony Krizan on drums, guitar and vocals, Tom Dicianni on drums, Bob Lanza and Charlie Macarone on guitar, Tim Timko and Baron Raymonde on saxophone, Will Wilde on harmonica, The California Chiswick Singers with Power and Fields throwing in a variety of other instruments for good measure.

Opener “Let Yourself Fly” takes cues from the E Street Band’s playbook, with dueling sax and guitar lines over a pulsating rhythm and soaring vocals. The horn section takes control of the slam-bang classic R&B number with a touch of Stones bravado on “Lady Luck.” The rumbling rocker “Mystery” poses some tough questions, underscored by Wilde’s thick blues harp. He brings a historical perspective to the orchestral title track, "Are We Ever Free," and he pulls no punches on the Humpty Dumpty shuffle "Going To Washington," its cutting lyrics matching the searing blues licks in a great single release for an election year.

Power explores a life lived to the fullest on the rolling thunderous sermon ‘Mistakes’, singing the praises of his beloved convertible ‘TR3’ after immortalising her on the album cover. The acoustic-driven ‘Come On Now’ tackles one of the toughest issues facing us today – the homelessness epidemic – and challenges us all to ‘help our sisters and brothers’. The bump and grind blues ‘Trouble To The Core’ is a classic tale of a man who has done something wrong and drowns his sorrows with whiskey-soaked guitar riffs. Power extols the power of optimism on the lush tome ‘The Noose’, and how life is long and full of surprises if you let it. After ten quality tracks, Power lets loose with another politically charged rocker “Man Goes Blind”, which is equal parts punk and gospel and thoroughly filled with spit and vinegar.

Great reviews are coming in for ARE WE EVER FREE:

Blues in the South REVIEW of “Are We Ever Free” by Brian Harmon:

Singer and guitarist Trevor is from New Jersey who only began playing the blues after meeting Bobby Whitlock (who was keyboard player with Derek & The Dominoes) and his wife CoCo Carmel. Previously he played only popular tunes of the day.

This, is his third album and in the studio with him are Dave Fields (who co-produces the album with Trevor); drums bass guitars, keyboards and vocals, Anthony Krizan; drums, guitar and vocals, Tom Dicianni; drums, Bob Lanza and Charlie Macarone; guitars, Tim Timko and Baron Raymonde;

The opener, ‘Let Yourself Fly’ is a very fine guitar and saxophone led stomping roller with stirring, uplifting vocals. ‘Lady Luck’ continues in this splendid, rocking vein. Guitar and harmonica led boogie ‘Mystery’ is a definite toe-tapper.

‘Are We Ever Free’, delivers a solemn, martial beat, questioning, decisions and actions made since the American Civil War. ‘Going To Washington’, is a splendid guitar and harmonica led stomping shuffle raising certain questions in this American election year.

The relaxing, rolling stomper ‘Mistakes’ deliberates on errors made climbing the greasy pole. The raucous and driving rocker ‘TR3’ is quite simply, a loving ode to his very fast car.

The sweetly enticing acoustic guitar led ‘Come On Now’ concerns the less than fashionable but, highly necessary subject of homelessness. ‘Trouble To The Core’ is a very, very satisfying walking paced blues boogie. The rolling Americana of ‘The Noose’ is an ode to optimism, after the metaphorical hangman fails to do his job properly.

The angry, rocking guitar and burning organ of ‘Man Goes Blind’ has a fiery Rolling Stones edge, in its rage about indifferent treatment of the common man.

Here is another review of my upcoming album ARE WE EVER FREE

Review Happily Written by - John Muller - Blue Notes and Conversations - raymondmuller567.wixsite.com/blue-notes-and-con-1

The Trevor B. Power Band - "Are We Ever Free " - Farm 189 Records - Recorded, Engineered, Arranged and Mixed By - Dave Fields at Farm 189 Studio's , Califon,New Jersey

When Trevor B. Power's latest release arrived in my mailbox one afternoon (Many thanks Betsie and Blind Raccoon) I was very excited . Having seen Trevor perform quite a few times here in New Jersey , knowing him both musically and personally , I was eager to dive into the release at the first opportunity .  Let me say this one was worth the wait, getting quite a few rides alongside me on my trips throughout New Jersey and into New York City . "Are We Ever Free" is the perfect road trip soundtrack .

Knowing quite a few of the musicians participating in this highly entertaining  musical odyssey is a plus . The incredible talent pool here is truly impressive and eye opening-Trevor B. Power - guitar, lead vocals; Additional Guitarists include - Bob Lanza ( a NJ icon), Charlie Macarone(singer/songwriter praised and renowned for his blazing slide guitar work), Dave Fields ( NY Hall of Famer , award-winning guitarist and producer reaching international acclaim); and Anthony Krizan  (one-man band , The Spin Doctors) ; Dave Fields - drums , bass , piano, organ , producer; With additional drummers Steve Holley (Paul McCartney and Wings) ; Tom Dicianni ; Anthony Krizan ; Will Wilde , Greasy Blues Harp ; Background Vocalists the Califon Chiswick Singers; and an explosive Horn Section with Tim Timko and Baron Raymonde , Saxophones .  WHEW!!

Trevor sent me a message when I contacted him about receiving the CD , warning me that this wasn't a " blues album" but a mixed bag of musical Americana . He certainly wasn't lying . And for those folks who told me that they don't like "cover albums" , well , rest assured that  every track has been written by Trevor or co-written alongside Dave Fields , not a cover to be heard anywhere on this outstanding 11-track  travelogue.

When Dave Fields takes the helm you can expect that boundaries will be stretched and  there are limitless musical possibilities . There isn't any rule book and any expectations are flung out the nearest window with a huge kick in the ass . This time around Trevor shows remarkable growth as a songwriter , pulling no punches as he reflects on social misfortunes , political injustices , life's tumultuous kaleidoscope , much of his lyricism cutting deep with equal parts sarcasm and optimism . Trevor's politically charged songs ask the tough questions that demand answers. The music is exceptionally performed , everyone in the groove and in the pocket , a mix of styles and genres  that ebbs and flows like the summer's ocean waves , Trevor and his bandmates making music their way , sharing their good times with all of us. From rip roarin' , no-holds-barred roadhouse blues ; to sweaty , horn-driven rhythm and blues ; raucous and rebellious rock n' roll ' and even some soulfully-driven acoustic folk ; you may even find yourself admiring the quizzical combination of punk rock and gospel that will surprise you along the way . Out of nowhere passes by a speeding car song , "TR3" , revved up and rarin' to go , Trevor singing the praises of his beloved convertible , immortalized on the cover. Just like the back roads of Northwestern New Jersey , you never know where this musical journey will take you .

Trevor and Dave are eager to take this new music out on the road . The joy and pleasure of creating "Are We Ever Free " will be shared with audiences far and wide . Trevor's life experiences are on full display , his views of society  laid bare, sermonizing the gospel that life is a crapshoot , so live it fully , embracing every moment . Take the time to "help our brothers and sisters" ("Come On Now") , fight back , be defiant , and actually give a damn .  Check out Dave Fields and Trevor B. Power at a juke joint , roadhouse ,  blues jam , club , near you -trevorbpowerband.com / www.davefields.com - Just bring your dancing shoes and, maybe , a towel or two....

Trevor , many thanks for inviting me along on this wonderful musical journey . What a sweet ride!  Your passion for music is extraordinary and certainly contagious .  Listening to "Are We Ever Free" is a testament to your musical diversity , expressing your individuality no matter what , tearing down borders and breaking down fences . You certainly embody  the spirit of American music : deeply personal , fresh , and inventive, unafraid to take chances , rebellious and totally unpredictable .  Outstanding album from start to finish!

Upcoming New Album Release and Video

My new album ARE WE EVER FREE will be released July 26th

My new album ARE WE EVER FREE hasn’t been officially released yet but I’m already getting some great reviews:

ARE WE EVER FREE - Trevor B Power Band

By Rick J Bowen

New Jersey roots music maestro Trevor B. Power has fully embraced the “Wall of Sound” aesthetic on his latest release, Are We Ever Free; a collection of eleven new original tracks that run the gamut of raucous roadhouse blues, sweet introspective American horn driven R&B, and four on the floor rock ‘n’ roll. Power has a lot to say about the current state of the nation and doesn’t pull any punches expressing his world view on a range of timely topics via poignant pointed prose that is both intellectual and accessible with sing along hooks and easy melodies. To achieve this, Power enlisted longtime friend and New York Blues Hall of Famer Dave Fields as coproducer to record his third studio album at Farm189 Studios in Califon, NJ. A-list drummer, Steve Holley, known for his work with Paul McCartney & Wings, was brought in to anchor the sessions and fuel the players who included Anthony Krizan on drums, guitar and vocals, Tom Dicianni on drums, Bob Lanza and Charlie Macarone on guitar, Tim Timko and Baron Raymonde on saxophone, Will Wilde on harmonica, The Califon Chiswick Singers with Power and Fields dropping in various other instruments for good measure.

The opener “ Let Yourself Fly,” takes cues from the E Street Band playbook, with dueling sax and guitar lines over a pulsating rhythm and soaring vocals. The horn section takes control of the bumping classic R&B number with a hint of Stones bravado on “Lady Luck.” The rumbling rocker, “Mystery,” asks a bunch of hard questions emphasized by Wilde’s greasy blues harp. He delivers some historical perspective on the orchestral title track “Are We Ever Free,” and he pulls no punches on the Humpty Dumpty shuffle “Going To Washington;” its cutting lyrics matching the scalding blues licks, a great single release for an election year.

Power offers up an examination of a life lived to the fullest on the rolling thunder sermon “Mistakes,” and sings the praises of his beloved convertible “TR3,” after immortalizing her on the album cover. The acoustic driven “Come On Now,” tackles one of the toughest issues facing us today - the epidemic of homelessness and challenges us all to” help our sisters and brothers.” The bump and grind blues “Trouble To The Core,” is a classic tale of a man done wrong drowning his sorrows with whiskey-soaked guitar riffs. Power praises the strength of optimism during the lush tome “The Noose,” and how life is long and can be full of surprises if you let it. After ten quality tracks Power lets loose with one more politically charged rocker “Man Goes Blind,” that is equal parts punk and gospel and thoroughly filled with spit and vinegar.

ABOUT

As singer-songwriter Trevor B. Power prepared to embark on his third album, he found himself in the capable hands of New York Blues Hall of Famer Dave Fields at the controls. With a collection of strong tunes in tow, Trevor and Dave, joined by some of the world's most talented musicians, started on a journey to create something special. Their collaboration yielded impressive results that speak for themselves.

The bond between Trevor and Dave goes way back to the days when Dave hosted blues jams at the renowned Stanhope House. From their initial meeting, Dave expressed his desire to one day record and produce Trevor's songs. After Trevor's two successful albums with Anthony Krizan, which garnered significant airplay and chart recognition worldwide, the time finally arrived.

Opting to record at Farm189 Studios in Califon, NJ, Trevor and Dave aimed for a live feel for the record, with only minor adjustments made in post-production. Renowned drummer Steve Holley, known for his work with Paul McCartney & Wings, was brought in to lay down most of the drum tracks. Trevor fondly recalls the experience of working with Steve, describing it as a proud moment in his life. Steve's impeccable timing and style added a new dimension to the songs, enhancing their drive and energy.

As Trevor ventures into his sixties, his passion for music remains undiminished. Whether strumming an acoustic guitar or shredding on electric, Trevor finds inspiration all around him, turning his thoughts and experiences into heartfelt lyrics. His songs reflect themes of self-awareness, the struggles of everyday life, and the universal emotions that connect us all.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Trevor hosts a weekly DJ radio show, www.spiderglennradio.com, and marvels at the abundance of great new music being produced. With "Are We Ever Free," Trevor delivers a fresh, vibrant sound that captivates listeners and invites them to groove along.

Continuing to perform regularly in northwest NJ, Trevor proudly showcases the songs from "Are We Ever Free," sharing his joy for life and the pleasure of creating music with audiences far and wide. Whether through real-life experiences or flights of imagination, Trevor's music embodies the essence of living fully and embracing every moment. So don't be surprised if you find yourself on your feet, dancing along at a Trevor B. Power Band show—because with "Are We Ever Free," the urge to move is irresistible.
